Shakamak girls - Departing Coach Chase Rhoten JASONVILLE, Ind. - (Updated 6/19) The Lakers enjoyed an 18-7 record last season, but a Sectional title again eluded them. However, Varsity Clubber reports a tantalizing situation awaiting incoming coach. Only two seniors graduate, and reportedly neither were true contributors. Instead, report details top seven players are expected back and three of that core will only be juniors next fall. MS Science and Eled are only teaching jobs open.
I have finally finished reformatting the Record Book - now 357 pages(!) Hopefully it will function far more efficiently on a mobile device now.
If you have a chance, please test it out - Specifically the table of contents with links. Previously, scrolling a hundred pages or so was beyond tedious, but hopefully now readers will be able to access the exact category they want to check on and then be able to return directly to table of contents area.
If you run across any errors in links (or anything for that matter) please let me know. I'm curious how it looks on different devices.

Seeger girls - Departing Coach Kevin Peterson (Interim) WEST LEBANON, Ind. -- (Updated 4/10) Coach Peterson’s interim position is being listed as open. Last season the Patriots finished 15-8. Good Varsity Club member reports this will be an interesting program over the next few years. Three seniors graduate, who each played considerable minutes. However, collectively they only accounted for about 10-11PPG on the scoreboard. Four regular rotation players are due back. The immediate question is about 5-11 sr-2-b Rylea Wetz (11PPG, 8RPG) - arguably the best of the returners. Coach Chad Wetz was suspended for the remainder of the year in January. A strong soph-2-be group moves up with several who saw varsity time as frosh. A couple of athletic jrs-2-b also in the mix. All told, this could be an extremely competitive squad, especially within the Wabash River Conference (Covington, Attica, North Vermillion, South Vermillion, Fountain Central, Riverton Parke, and Park Heritage.) Seeger with around 390 students is second largest in the conference - by a mile. Only South Vermillion at 500 is larger. JV is above average which is encouraging considering how many underclassmen were contributing at the varsity level. Varsity Clubber reports current teaching openings include HS Math, HS Health, Eled Art, and Eled Music. Potentially more.(Updated 5/12) Good Varsity Club member reports Jeff McCoy's name headed to board
Evansville Day School - Departing Coach Gary Wilsey EVANSVILLE, Ind. – (Updated 6/10) Now official that Coach Wilsey has resigned after six seasons with the Eagles. The Pocket City private school was 8-16 last season. Day School’s no-cut policy for athletics is unique to say the least at the high school level. Assistant Coach Eric Sogard reportedly in the mix.
