HH Varsity Club Insider: It's a Rebuild in Farmersburg

xwvo1uexjnryilul0d70

North Central boys - Departing Coach Vance Edmondson
FARMERSBURG, Ind. -- (Updated 6/5)
Coach Edmondson departs to take over for the Sullivan girls squad. Last season’s Thunderbirds were 12-12, and Edmondson is not the only one out the door. With just a couple of holdovers, next season’s T-Birds will look drastically different. Jr-2-b guard Jace Hooper logged substantial varsity time last go round and DeShawn Clark should supply some much needed reach, but beyond that it will be largely uncharted ground. A seven member JV was less than competitive in several outings. Put simply, it will be a rebuild in Farmersburg. HS Math, HS Spanish, MS Science, and Asst. Principal - willing to pair admin with Coaching

OT: Cornerstone Hoops

Some of you know that I started a faith based 501 3 C to work basketball camps.
Headed to Hamtramck Michigan and Baku Azerbaijan this summer.
Maybe headed to Hawaii in the fall and looking for opportunities for bball clinics/camps there, too. Not the whole time, but some time.
Looking forward to it, the experiences and hopefully helping spread the game of basketball.

Potential name at Linton

Linton-Stockton boys - Departing Coach Noah Hawkins (Interim)
LINTON, Ind. -- (Updated 4/18) Now official Linton will not be bringing Joey Hart back as the Miners boys basketball coach. In 13 years at Linton Coach Hart was 277-73. He guided the Miners to three 2A state runner-up finishes. There are reports that Linton sees itself as a big fish and some admin want to go through a statewide coaching search process. However, those reports are currently outpaced by those pointing to keeping interim Noah Hawkins. Job is not officially open yet for apps etc, but Linton will see a change next season. (Updated 4/19) Word now that Coach Hawkins is not interested in pursuing the head coaching position at Linton. Looks like it will open up after all. (Updated 5/30) Good Varsity Clubber reports Matt Britton name heavily in the mix.

HH Varsity Club Insider: West Noble returns as many Turnovers as Points

qjybd7qu9owkplz5uj4p

West Noble girls - Departing Coach Jeff Burns
LIGONIER, Ind. -- (Updated 5/23)
Coach Burns will not be back for the 3 seasons with the Chargers. Varsity Club member reports only one senior departs from last season’s 3-20 roster. The season ended in a dismal 55-6 Sectional opening loss to Feifield. Trouble exists in the fact that with the loss of Mackensy Mabie to graduation (primary ball handler, multiple time all-NECC) so goes 14 points of their team’s 30PPG. Offense was truly tough to come by last season, and the new coach is going to inherent as many turnovers per game as points returning. The 3A Chargers currently reside in Sectional 20 with Wawasee, Fairfield, NorthWood, and Lakeland. Good Varsity Clubber airports 7th and 8th grade are both solid classes of athletes with potential. Supportive admin. Stipend $6100. Only openings at this time are reported as Eled positions.
