Eastbrook girls - Departing Coach Jeff Liddick
MARION, Ind. -- (Updated 3/1) Coach Liddick will not be on the Panther sidelines next season for the first time in 13 years. Coach had a ridiculous (190-91) run there. The 2A Panthers went 23-3 before falling in the Regional to Lapel. Next season’s coach will be without the services of five very experienced seniors. 5-9 sr-2-b Mia Bustos (8PPG, 6RPG) is about it on true contributors returning. Report continues that about four other underclassmen saw action in about half the contests, but no time in clutch situations. So short version is - Blank slate for Eastbrook. Not much help expected from a below average JV squad that struggled to score points. Eastbrook is a member of the CIC: Oak Hill, Alex, Blackford, Ole Miss, M-G, Elwood, and Frankton. Good Varsity Club member reports admin would like to pair with HS Math, HS Science, HS Ag. Will update with expected info regarding feeder teams.
