Sad news out of Shelbyville. Learned of the passing of longtime HS and college referee John Thomas. John was a well know area official in the 60's and 70's (at least). Called a lot of big games, always seemed to have control and could handle people well. Just a great guy to talk hoops with. He will surely be missed in the Central Indiana basketball world. Believe info available in the Shelbyville News. John was 88.
