Committee overturns IHSAA ruling, says beach and indoor volleyball are different sports
A review committee has overturned an IHSAA ruling that forbade high school athletes from participating in beach events during their high school season

Now they are considered two different sports because of court size and number of players. I understand it, but did they just open up a can of worms. Are club volleyball programs going to start sand volleyball leagues during the season? Are AAU programs going to start having 3 on 3 games on Sundays, 7 on 7 flag football tournaments? You can now play slow pitch softball tournaments on the weekends during baseball.
