INDIANA -- Good Varsity Club member, John Ockomon provides updates on those schools seeking to end long-running Sectional droughts!
When favored Churubusco (1918) went down the other night, it ended a bad year for schools with no titles for 10 years or more.
Not only did none of the Top Ten win, but none of the Top 25 even broke through.
Indianapolis Tindley was the only first time winner, and they only have been trying since 2009.
Here is the Top Ten (only 7 this year):
1. West Vigo 1990
2. Madison Grant 1996
3. Christian Academy 1999
4. Oak Hill 2001
5. Eastern (Pekin) 2001
6. Lebanon Tigers 2002
7. Northridge 2004
Still bummed out about Churubusco getting beat! Maybe Next year.
