A project I have been heavily involved with in putting together. If you are a high school basketball fan here in Indiana, this will be a fantastic event!
We are excited to announce the Great High School Basketball Teams Discussion Series that will take place next Wednesday, August 16th at the Indiana State Fair. Come hear from the players and coaches whose talent, teamwork, and spirit live prominently in Indiana's famed basketball lore. Coaches like Jack Keefer and Stan Benge. Players like Greg Oden, Steve Downing, Bria Goss, Jay Edwards, Lyndon Jones, Justin Cage, and Robert Vaden. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to listen to the stories of our state's most magical high school seasons told by the legendary players and coaches who lived the experience!
The discussions will take place at the Farm Bureau Auditorium in the Purdue Extension Building at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. These talks are open to the public. The schedule is as follows:
11 AM: '69 George Washington moderated by Bill Benner
1 PM: '87 Marion Gians moderated by Jim Brunner
3 PM: '03 Pike Red Devils moderated by Bob Lovell
5 PM: '06 Lawrence North Wildcasts moderated by Chris May
6:30 PM: '09 Ben Davis Girls moderated by Greg Rakestraw
