Southmont boys - Departing Coach Jake Turner
CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. -- (Updated 4/6) Jake Turner resigned as Southmont boys basketball coach last night. Coach has been there for six years and had a record of 64-67, but they were 15-8, 19-7 and 11-10 the last three years. Varsity Clubber’s report continues the Mounties lose two starters. Will be decent next year with three starters and a good JV team. Play in the rugged Sagamore Athletic Conference. Won the school’s second sectional two years ago (2 in 52 years).
