30 teams tried to stop their drought of sectional titles last night

Only Seven schools ended their 10 years or more futility

Franklin, South Bend Washington,Lakeland,Silver Creek,Clinton Prairie, Triton and Clinton Central..

Down from 10 the previous year.

The prize goes to Lakeland a 24 year drought and the runner up Clinton Central
... 23 years.

Now the Regionals....31 teams are back from last year.

11 are defending their regional title

Eight of those are favored to win again.

12 of the 64 have never won.
Silver Creek is one of those but is favored to finally win their first title. Also Lanesville is favored to finally get one.

Others with a chance are: Angola,Trinity Lutheran,South Putnam,and Tecumseh.
