Linton-Stockton boys - Departing Coach Noah Hawkins (Interim)
LINTON, Ind. -- (Updated 4/18) Now official Linton will not be bringing Joey Hart back as the Miners boys basketball coach. In 13 years at Linton Coach Hart was 277-73. He guided the Miners to three 2A state runner-up finishes. There are reports that Linton sees itself as a big fish and some admin want to go through a statewide coaching search process. However, those reports are currently outpaced by those pointing to keeping interim Noah Hawkins. Job is not officially open yet for apps etc, but Linton will see a change next season. (Updated 4/19) Word now that Coach Hawkins is not interested in pursuing the head coaching position at Linton. Looks like it will open up after all. (Updated 5/30) Good Varsity Clubber reports Matt Britton name heavily in the mix.
