Kankakee Valley Head Girls Basketball Coach

Short Description:
The position of Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach has been opened at Kankakee Valley High School. We will accept both internal and external applicants for consideration for this position. We are seeking a Head Coach with a strong knowledge base of the game and is passionate about the sport! Kankakee Valley is a class 4A basketball school, but will be 3A next reclassification, with approximately 1050 students 9-12 located in Jasper County. We are a member of the Northwest Crossroads Conference (NCC)!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Head Coach will be in charge of program wide development!
Head Coach will be in charge of the girls basketball financials!
Head Coach will hire and evaluate assistant coaches!
Head Coach will schedule practice sessions with athletic office!
Head Coach will order equipment for the High School teams!
Head Coach will make sure all athletes are eligible with the athletic office!
Head Coach will conduct in season and out of season workouts!
Skills/Requirements:
Looking for an experienced coach that can continue a successful program. Good communication skills and organizational skills required. Having a strong knowledge base and teaching to the kids is important.
Education Requirements:
We have several openings for other jobs within our corporation, so education requirements would depend on any of those jobs that would need filled!
