[Kent Adams’ legendary run as the head boys basketball coach at Twin Lakes has led to a rare achievement.

A court dedication ceremony was held Saturday night when Twin Lakes named its basketball court Kent Adams Court prior to the game against Western.

“It’s a tremendous honor. I’m deeply humbled by it,” Adams said. “It kind of takes my breath away the fact that it’s a very special thing for me and my family. We’re really very appreciative and feel very blessed. God’s been good. We’ve had a lot of experiences. We’ve been in this community for a little over 28 years and I’ve loved every minute of it. I’ve loved every minute of the teaching, coaching, athletic administration and everything else that we’ve loved along the way.”]
