Four teams were selected by our players in Week 7, and again there was a clear favorite. Nine of them picked Seymour and received 24 points for the Owls' 56-32 win over the Jennings County Panthers. The largest margin of victory belonged to the 2A #13 Rochester Zebras in their 62-point shutout of the Northfield Norsemen, the only game this week in which one of our teams held their opponents scoreless. Four of our teams suffered losses in Week 7: 2A #14 Evansville Mater Dei, 1A #16 Milan, Monrovia, and 4A #14 Columbia City. 3A #4 Hanover Central remains our only undefeated team.
Our leaderboard looks much as it did last week due to the popularity of the Seymour pick, but we did have one new name that entered the top five in this round. Mr. B.A. still stands alone in first place with 320 points, and hhsdawg and ysuindy are still tied for second with 317. Quad Runner is next with 315 points in fourth place. Nick Jenkinson made the most improvement this week, moving up four spots to join Rob Deweese in a tie for fifth with 304 points. These six contestants are separated by only 16 points with just two weeks remaining in the contest!
Here are the games for Week 7 with scores, point margins, and the number of players who picked each one:
