To a very great degree, our contestants were of one mind in Week 2. Out of 13 players, 12 of them picked 3A #12 Monrovia in this round, easily the most to pick the same team in any week in the 13 years I have been the administrator of this contest. The Bulldogs proved our contestants' confidence in them to be well founded as they clipped the wings of the Phalen Academy Falcons in a 65-point shutout victory, the largest winning margin for the week by 25 points. Three of our teams - Milan, 2A #11 Rochester, and 2A #1 Evansville Mater Dei - suffered losses in Week 2. Four of our nine teams remain undefeated: 4A #8 Columbia City, 6A #8 Fishers, 3A #7 Hanover Central, and Monrovia.
With nearly all of our contestants picking the same team, there was no movement at the top of our leaderboard this week. EHS_HOOPS and Mr. B.A. remain tied for the lead with 114 points. A five-way tie exists for third between Ed Stachulak, hhsdawg, Quad Runner, Rob Deweese, and ysuindy, each with 109 points.
