Tri-West girls - Departing Coach Nathan Marquis (Interim)
LIZTON, Ind. -- (Updated 4/6) Coach Marquis took over for Sam Terrell a few games into the season. (Updated 4/7) Good Varsity Clubber reports Coach Marquis allegedly thought he had done enough as interim to merit the head job. However, the story is that he was told to reapply. He chose not to. The cupboard was quite bare last season. Coach Gliva had left along with a strong class in Spring 2021. Best player in the program last year was Atta Garnet, who was ineligible until the tournament after transferring from Brownsburg. She's a senior next year. They also had another junior playing JV due to transfer. They were young - only one senior. Still don't know that there is a lot there, but that program has been good for too long to stay down for very long.
