Morgan Twp girls - Departing Coach Rick Budka
VALPARAISO, Ind. -- (Updated 3/8) Coach Budka ends a long tenure with the Cherokees after finishing Sectional champions and with a 17-8 record last season. MT looks at what could be another solid season, as they are on paper to return almost 35 points a game. Good Varsity Clubber reports just two seniors and only 13 PPG to graduate. 5-7 sr-2-b guards Madi Lemmons and Josie Lemmons should be back along with their 20PPG. Several other experienced underclassmen are exected back as well. Morgan gets to play in the historic Porter County Conference. Report that feeder teams (both 8th and 7th) have advanced to the PCC tourney finals this season. Currently zero teaching positions at Morgan.
