Daleville boys – Departing Coach Tyler Stotler
DALEVILLE, Ind. – (Updated 3/12) Now official that Daleville boys will be open. Coach Stotler was 38-51 during 4 largely competitive years with the Broncos. Last year’s squad finished 8-12, 3-6 in the Mid-Eastern Conference (Eastern Hancock, Monroe Central, Union, Wes-Del, Randolph Southern, Shenandoah, Wapahani, Cowan, and BRV) Good Varsity Club member reports Broncs should be ready to fight again next go-round as 5 of their 7 main contributors are set to return. Leading scorer and rebounder, 6-2 sr-2-b Trevion Johnson, is set to return as are his 14 ppg and 6 rpg. 5-10 sr-2-b PG Camden Leisure also expected back with considerable varsity time already logged in the backcourt. 6-2 soph-2-be Merrick Adams also deserves mention as report states he had several solid games as a varsity frosh last year. Two early names being mentioned as possible candidates include assistant coaches Nate Combs and Braden Renbarger. Apps deadline 4/9.
