Crown Point girls - Departing Coach Chris Seibert
CROWN POINT, Ind. – (Updated 4/10) Coach Seibert has announced his resignation on social media after 10 years (193-66) at CP. Last year the Bulldogs were 12-12, and good Varsity Clubber reports only three seniors and minimal PPG graduate. If all previously rostered underclassmen return, the new coach at Crown Point will likely reap the benefits of last year’s growing pains. 5-6 soph-2-b guard Ava Richie went for almost 15PPG last year as a varsity Frosh, and 6-4 jr-2-b post Ivy Henderson have Bulldog fans very optimistic. Report underscores the upside on these two as well as an athletic/tall supporting cast of under class-classmates. An 18-5 JV only adds to the enthusiasm for games to come. Report anticipates internal interest. MS SS and Eled only openings at this time. Varsity Club member reports Crown Point has two middle schools that feed high school. Taft and Wheeler and both sport winning groups... Taft 8th grade: 15-1, Taft 7th grade: 13-2. Wheeler 8th grade: 9-3, Wheeler 7th grade: 12-3
