At this early stage, aside from the coaches directly impacted, the listings for the Morton boys and girls jobs are virtually the same. Still I wanted to get this info out there. More to come on these as well as Noll and Clark which are facing similar situation.
Morton boys – Departing Coach Eric Speer
HAMMOND, Ind. – (Updated 3/10) Hammond Morton High School will be consolidating in 2021-2022 with Hammond Gavit High School. The consolidated Morton will have an enrollment of 2000+ students. Teaching areas open include HS Math, ELA, Science, and Health. Many other positions available within the school system. The four Hammond public high schools are scheduled to consolidate into just two schools for 2021-22. Coach Speer and Gavit Coach Bobby Jones expected to be in the mix, but according to one report, Morton does want to entertain outside names as well. More info coming.
