Blackford boys - Departing Coach Matt Justin
HARTFORD CITY, Ind. -- (Updated 3/27) Blackford went 8-16 last year under Coach Justin. Good Varsity Club member reports three contributors graduate. Last year’s leading scorer, 6-3 sr-2-b Gage Baker 13PPG, 7RPG) is expected back. Classmate guard, 5-8 Jacob Leas, also back along with his 9PPG. 6-4 jr-2-b Mason Kitterman also appears ready to take next step after going for about 6PPG last season. A 12-10 JV should also help. Varsity Clubber reports a couple of JV players went for 13 or so a game. A JV post may help inside as well. The eighth grade has a real difference maker (Amarian Leggett) on the roster. Varsity Club member ponders whether he will remain a Bruin as a frosh. Early spring teaching jobs: MS SS and MS Art.
