After 44 years of wall to wall coverage of Grant County sports, Ken Hill is ending his publication with this week's edition. Kenny had a magnificent run and did so much to cover and promote all sports in Grant County from college all the way down to Youth Baseball, PAL Club and Boys Club. I don't think I ever went to a sporting event that I did not see Ken there for a least a portion of it. Ken was the publisher, editor, reporter and photographer for all of those years. Ken started out with the Chronicle-Tribune before starting on what was probably the most read paper in the county at one time. It wasn't about the major sports either, Kenny had coverage of every sport at every school, even if it was just a paragraph. I imagine Ken is in his 70s and making it to all of those events and then getting it to print was not as easy as it used to be. So Kenny thanks for all of the memories you preserved for Grant County athletes for 44 years. You and the Hotline will be missed.
