Just noticed in the past few days the reports of good crowds at early boys basketball games. Obviously a big crowd at Kokomo to see Flory Bidunga vs. Western. I saw a decent crowd at Franklin Tuesday night for the FCHS-Indian Creek boy-girl doubleheader, and apparently the Center Grove at Greenwood game the next night also had a good crowd by Johnson County standards. According to pictures and videos on Facebook the annual Barr Reeve-Washington game was played before a nearly packed Hatchet House on Wednesday. Are there reports of other strong crowds this week? Just wondering if this is the holiday or opening game attractions, or if we are looking at a possible positive attendance trend. I might add the FCHS-IC game did not feature much of a student turnout for either school, which unfortunately has become the norm in most of Johnson County.
