[Former Adams boys basketball Coach Dave Hadaway has passed away. He was 79. Hadaway was battling Alzheimer's for the last several years, his brother tells us.
Hadaway was a legendary figure on the Eagles sideline leading them to the state finals in 1973 where they lost to New Albany 84-79. His stars on the team were Jim Webb and Steve Austin.
Many may recognize his name as the man behind the nickname of the Adams gymnasium which takes the name of the "Hadaway Shack".]
