Some of us older members have memories of the game being much different than it is today.

Here are some of the things that I vividly recall:
Players sitting in a circle near the free throw circle and a cart on wheels being pushed to them during a time out. Cart contained towels and water bottles and resin. Coach couldn't talk to players.

tuff-skin foot powder benches

Stick-em

Choice as to shooting the free throw or taking possession of the ball.

Bike antifungal spray

Sudden death OT

Clock only stopping for fouls or held balls.

Clock stopping on violations IF you had a sub at the scorer's bench

Early 50's saw an annual change to free throw rules. Wasn't there a year that you had 2 to make 1 which followed the NBA 3 to make 2 rule?

Good Luck to all teams this season!
