Team A beats Team B in the first round of Sectionals. Tommy of Team B wakes up not feeling well on Wednesday of Sectional Week. Mom has him tested and he tests positive. Team B calls Team A Athletic Director and telsl him/her the bad news. What is the protocol? Does the AD watch the film to see who was on the floor with Tommy? What if Tommy was the PG of Team B and never entered the paint on offense? He also plays the Top of a 3-2 zone all game? Who makes the decision on the players for Team A being eligible to play on Friday night? Not sure anyone has the answers but this situation could happen. Maybe this plan in place and I have not seen it?
