Loogootee's 47-42 victory over Brownstown Central, for 3rd place at Graber Post Building was 50 years in the making.
We lost to Brownstown Central 84-63 on 12/30/1967 in Championship game of Martinsville tourney. I was there and they had a big team then. We had upset Martinsville in afternoon game 53-49.
Back to Graber Post, this was a good tournament for our team to come together and play well. Beat Clay City by 18, lost to Barr-Reeve 37-33, could have won that, then get 3rd place at Graber post with victory over Brownstown Central. Our big guy Silas Bauer who's a freshmen had 16 pts tonight along with Jayden Wagoner.
