Weird jump ball results in a tie-up between two players other than those jumping. Official rules jump ball. Since no possession has yet to be established, I'm thinking traditional jump ball.
Question 1: Do the two new players involved in the tie-up jump or does it revert to pretty much a do-over of jump players dictated by coach's decision?
Question 2: If loose ball scramble in same scenario results in tie-up taking place closer to a free throw circle, is it a possibility for jump to take place in one of those circles ala old school, or are those days long gone no matter the circumstance?
