The Edinburgh/Greenwood attendance was horrible in my opinion. Greenwood had very few fans from my count, about 100 and Edinburgh was closer to 150 including their huge cheerleading squad. My sources tell me that Franklin/eating Creek had a good crowd based on the underlying story of the transfer students from each school. As a fan, I have a hard time understanding why the tourney is even played in its current format. I would think a blind draw would bring a new perspective to the county tourney. Seeding the top three teams provide for the best match ups for the championship game, according to the majority of athletic directors, wouldn't it make more sense if the best teams played on the first night and that would increase attendance across the board for all schools involved. I'm a firm believer that Greenwood Christian Academy should be involved in all county tournaments and would increase the fan base.
