GARRETT, Ind. -- (Updated 4/5) Now being reported that Coach Evertts has resigned after three seasons with the Railroaders. In an oddity all three seasons finished with an identical 5-18 record. Prior to New Year’s, Garrett sat just a game under below .500, but last year’s end-of-season 12-game losing streak was a killer. Garrett’s Northeast Corner Conference did them no favors either. Eastside, Angola, Central Noble, Busco, Prairie Hts, Lakeland, Fremont, and Fairfield. The undermanned Railroaders haven’t topped .500 for ten years.
