Hey, don't forget that part of Greenwood's big 1160 enrollment that helps us just make 4A are the fine kiddos that come from all over to reside at Valle Vista Hospital. It's a residential drug rehab and psychiatric hospital for central Indiana teens. All these kids are counted as enrolled students of Greenwood no matter what school system they came from.
Not surprisingly, most have not found time (during their residential counseling to get off drugs or stop from killing themselves) to come out for basketball. This fact must come as a shock to the IHSAA since they continue to count the entire populace of teens at Valle Vista against our class enrollment.
I don't mean to make light of what I am sure is a very valuable community resource. But IHSAA numbers?? Come on...
