Big night tonight at Greenfield-Central School Board meeting.
Coach Doug Laker and the 2016-17 girls basketball team will be recognized for winning arguably the most prestigious in-season tourney the state has to offer - The Hall of Fame Classic.
Not certain how the timeline will break down, but I'm sure someone on the board will make a few remarks congratulating them on their accomplishments. Most likely there will be a player or two say something.
Then, if all goes according to schedule, the superintendent and AD will ask that Coach Laker not be retained.
Cracker Jack job, Greenfield. Not just on your fabulous choices in administrators, but also for the priceless foresight in scheduling.
