Updated 6/6 -- Coach Terry Rademacher is reportedly retiring after a 19 year career (18 at Borden) and nearly 250 wins. The Lady Braves were 12-10 last year.
Caston girls – Departing Coach Joel Burrus
Updated 6/6 -- Coach Joel Burrus will not be back after two seasons (12-33) with the Comets. Most recently Caston went 5-18. Varsity Clubber indicates interwieing to wrap-up early next week. They will likely struggle for a year or two, but Varsity Clubber indicates both 6th and 7th grade groups are very strong.
Decatur Central girls – Departing Coach Josh Sabol

Lake Central girls – Departing Coach Marc Urban
Updated 6/6 -- Coach Marc Urban departs after four really solid years at Lake Central. (16-8) (19-3) (22-4) and (23-2) last year. Varsity Club member indicates four seniors depart but an intriguing collection of underclassmen return and should continue the trend of spreading out the offense. Plus some quality height among younger varsity players. Inside name being mentioned includes potential front runner Jeanette Gray – current JV coach and former head coach at Hammond Clark and Highland.
Madison-Grant girls – Departing Coach Tom Leas
Updated 6/6 -- The Argyle job is open after Tom Leas leaves. Leas was 22-24 during his tenure there, winning 15 his last campaign. Good Varsity Clubber reports admin wants to start intvs ASAP – week of 6/13. This one could be a real winner as only two seniors depart and with them go just 4 PPG. Good Varsity Club member reports virtually all guard play returns as well as all rebounding and interior defense returns. This could be a really good one.
Medora boys – Departing Coach Michael Leitzman
Updated 6/6 - Coach Michael Leitzman departs to take over at Springs Valley after two years with Medora. The Hornets were 15-33 during that time. Coach Leitzman’s PE/Health is speculated to be in play for new coach. No other teaching openings are expected at this point. Cupboard is bare again at Medora.. The tiny Hornets graduated 7 seniors and return barely 10 ppg from last year. Good Varsity Club member reports best and really only proven returner is 5-11 sr-2-b Brandon Moore (8 ppg). No height and all leadership departs. Zero help from very poor JV. Schedule has been altered over time to allow for some success including 4 non-IHSAA schools. However, they are going to need it and more for the next few years.
North White boys – Departing Coach Eli Hanson
Updated 6/6 -- Coach Eli Hanson has departed to accept the Whitko boys job. The Vikes have gone 63-56 during his 5 years at North White. Last year’s group was a good one, going 18-7.

Updated 6/6 -- Coach Dustin Baldwin has resigned after four years. Baldwin has won more games each of the four seasons with the Indians concluding with a 13-12 record last year – Their first winning record in 8 years. Two seniors graduate, but 5 jrs-2-b logged varsity time last years as sophs.
