On this date in 1926, representatives from Frankfort, Kokomo, Logansport, New Castle, and Rochester met @ Kokomo High School to discuss the formation of a basketball conference. They decided to convene again on the 29th, and to also extend invitations to Anderson, Indianapolis Arsenal Tech, Lebanon, Marion, and Muncie. Congrats to the North Central Conference, Indiana's oldest and most historic. The Conference of Champions indeed!
