Last year was a bad year for schools trying to end long droughts without a title. None of the top 25 did it, the winner was West Vigo who had last won in 1990.
Here are the Top Ten with either their last title or if never won(NW), the first year they tried:
1. Shoals NW-1913 No way this year
2. Crothersville NW-1915 No way
3. Churubusco NW 1918 A long long shot
4. Westfield NW 1918 No way
5. Fishers 1922 Long shot
6. Westville NW 1923 No way
7. Washington Township NW 1925 Long shot but 2nd fav
8 .Indiana Deaf NW 1943 No way
9. Lake Station 1941 No way
10. Medora 1949 No Way

Huntington Sectional: Host school 2001 has a good chance
Logansport Sectional: Zionsville 95 might sneak in but Logan 96 is a long shot

Southport Sectional: Host- 2000 is almost co-fav
Terre Haute Sectional: Mooresville 98 might pull it off this year
Martinsville Sectional: Franklin 06 and Whiteland 02 are 3rd and 4th choices
