comments. Most of the historical info referenced was derived from John Harrell’s great web site.
Regional Prediction Results: Last week, I picked 10 of the 16 regional winners correctly for 63%.
For all games played, I selected 36 out of 48 games correctly for 75%.

Class 1A at Seymour: Bloomfield over West Washington ---------------by 7 points
* Bloomfield was my #2 pre-tourney choice to win the South Semi-State
* It is Bloomfield's first semi-state appearance since 1999; WW's first appearance ever
* Bloomfield has played a much tougher schedule than WW.
Class 1A at Huntington: Liberty Christian over Gary 21st Century -----by 4 points
* LC and Gary were my pre-tourney #1 and #3 choices, respectively, to win the North Semi-State
* LC edged Gary 77-76 on January 29th--at LC.
* It will be LC's third straight semi-state; Gary's first.
Class 2A at Richmond: Indpls.Howe over Providence--------------------by 9 points
* Howe was my pre-tourney #1 choice to win the South Semi-State
* Howe has played a much tougher schedule than Providence
* Howe is playing in the semi-state for the first time since 1981; Providence since 2012
Class 2A at Huntington: Lapel over Ft.Wayne Canterbury--------------by 8 points
* Lapel was my pre-tourney #1 choice to win the North Semi-State
* It is Lapel's first semi-state trip since 2005; Canterbury's first since 2012
Class 3A at Seymour: Evansville Bosse over Tri-West-------------------by 5 points
* Bosse has played a much tougher schedule than TW
Class 3A at Lafayette: Griffith over Marion-------------------------------by 5 points
* Griffith was my pre-tourney #1 choice to win the North Semi-State. Marion was #2.
* Marion has played a much tougher schedule than Griffith.
* Griffith is playing in their second straight semi-state. It's Marion's first trip since 2008.
Class 4A at Richmond: New Albany over Southport---------------------by 6 points
* New Albany was my pre-tourney #1 choice to win the South Semi-State.
Southport was my #3 choice.
* NA has played a strong schedule. Southport's schedule is even stronger.
* NA is playing in the semi-state for the first time since 2008. It is Southport's
first appearance since 1990.
Class 4A at Lafayette: McCutcheon over Warsaw-----------------------by 3 points
* McCutcheon was my pre-tourney #2 choice to win this semi-state. Warsaw was #4.
* Strength of schedule for these two is about the same.
* It is McCutcheon's first semi-state appearance since 2001; Warsaw's first since 2010.
