The Rosy Roundup is a twice annual gathering of basketball people here in Indiana.
Originally it was started by Hall of Fame Lebanon High School Coach Jim Rosenstihl as a way to fellowship and share with other basketball people during the off season. Hence - Rosy's Roundup.
It is a tradition that continues today, many decades after its humble beginnings.
The Spring Roundup this year is Thursday, May 2. People start gathering at 11:15 a.m. at Stookey’s Steakhouse, 125 East Main Street in Thorntown, Indiana. Usually the meal and program are done around 1:30 to 2 p.m. Meal is $15.00 (pay that day cash please).

This is to allow for the ordering of food for the event which the menu is already set.
The speaker for the event is J.D Collins, Head of the NCAA Tourney officials. There will also be reps from the Indiana Basketball HOF, IHSAA, and more.
It is a fun time usually attended by well over a hundred high school basketball fans, coaches, and Hall of Famers!
Everyone is invited to come talk and share basketball with us.
