While looking forward to draw this evening, I reviewed the enrollments for next years classification.
Here is what a Illinois style class system would look like in Indiana, based on set enrollment as cutoff for classification. I believe it would be more fair for the lower enrollment 3A and 4A's. While putting larger number of teams in 1A and 2A.
Class A enrollment cutoff 310= 127 schools.
Class AA enrollment cutoff 600= 122 schools.
Class AAA enrollment cutoff 1250= 96 schools
Class AAAA would have 79 teams.
Just something to think about.
