Saw this this week and am curious if it was called correctly. Interesting situation.
Team A shoots the ball and A1 tips the ball back, not yet gaining team control. I am aware that if this went in the back court, it would NOT be over and back.
HOWEVER.....A2, around the volleyball line tips or hits it again, into the back court....BUT still not having control of the ball.
A3 picked the ball up in the backcourt and over and back was called.
To the normal fan like me, I could see why it was called over and back. I could also see the Coach of Team A saying his team never had team control and should not have been over and back.
Interested to hear from one of the officials on this board.
