Question about Hudl

Are there any coaches out there that can give me a recommendation as to which Ipad works best for filming games on Hudl? Minis are cheaper.... is the video quality as good? I've used a video camera in the past. I think I like the idea of using an Ipad so I can upload video during the game. Any information you can provide would be helpful.
