I know this has been posted before, but what's the deal on this?

Is it from kindergarten through HS?

How long does a kid sit out?

I know a coach who coaches a travel team in a sport and I told him that those guys couldn't play for him in the future. He was perplexed and I didn't have enough info. Not that he is recruiting and not that he would do it.
