Fans,
Since last spring, when I did my preliminary rankings for 2018-19, there has
again been relevant movement of players, including both transfers between
Indiana schools as well as others who have moved out of state or enrolled in
so-called prep schools. So, as the new season nears, I thought it might be
worthwhile to update my pre-season ratings for 3A and 4A to reflect these
various roster changes.
I doubt that I’m aware of all the personnel changes that have taken place, so
if there is additional information or corrections that any of the readers can
provide, please do not hesitate to contact me at Dan.Wantz@yahoo.com.
Unless known otherwise, I’m assuming that all players changing schools will
be eligible at their new location. That’s probably not accurate, so again feel
free to offer corrections if known.
For each ranked team, their 2018 record is shown along with their calculated
Power Rating. The comment section shows the number of key players
returning and the cumulative points-per-game represented by these key players.
Any key underclassman entering or leaving each team’s program since last year
is also mentioned.
