Four teams were picked by our contestants in Week 4, with LaPorte being the most popular choice. Despite the vote of confidence from our players, the Slicers were only able to eke out a two point win over the Chesterton Trojans. The largest margin of victory in this round came from the Crown Point Bulldogs with their 45-0 drubbing of the Lake Central Indians. Six of our teams had wins of 25 points or more, and two suffered losses. Four of our teams are undefeated heading into the middle week of the season, but the Springs Valley Blackhawks are still winless with an average losing margin of over 24 points.
Our leaderboard did not see much change in Week 4. Jeremy Powers continues to be at the top with 161 points, and HickoryHusker moved up one spot to second with 145. Quad Runner fell one position to third with 108 points, followed by Steve03 and Raiderfan32 who remain fourth and fifth in the standings with 100 and 86 points respectively.
A reminder to all contestants: your tiebreaker predictions are due by 6:00 pm ET on Friday, September 15. It is not mandatory to submit a tiebreaker prediction; but if you fail to do so and end up in a tie with another contestant who did submit one, the other contestant will be declared the winner.
