Interesting read on Muncie manufacturing rise and fall.
reading it I was thinking of a similar rise and fall in Kokomo, Anderson, FT Wayne,, Lafayette, Shelbyville, New Castle and smaller places liike Early Nobletucky when it was a manufacturing town attracting an influx of kentucky natives instead of yuppies and upwardly mobiles.
