I know one of our members recently ran with the torch last week. Well, my autistic son, Ryan, will also be carrying the Indiana Bicentennial Torch on Sept. 23 in Franklin. Ryan is supposed to receive the torch sometime around 4:30 p.m. just west of Creekside Elementary and Custer Baker Intermediate School.
There will be a celebration at the courthouse square honoring all the Johnson County torch bearers. As an added incentive the Artcraft is showing "Hoosiers" that night and also on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Would love to have as many of you all to come out and cheer Ryan on or meet you before the movie at the courthouse.
We aren't going to the movie as we need to get to Columbus and our hotel as we are running the Mill Race Half Marathon the next morning.
