Went over to Athens for the annual rivalry game. Looked like old home week. Lots of Indiana in the house. Jack Owens doing a stellar job rebuilding that program. Support staff with Ken Lowe and Ryne smith. Stellar performances from Nike (Attucks) Adaway (logansport) Coleman Landes (lalu ) and Ringo (Bburg). Tommy on the bench at Ohio was happy to welcome them and open up for shootaround and practice sessions. Between Whitford and Jack using the next level of Indiana talent the MAC is going to get kids places to play. Bates up at western Michigan has taken a bunch of kids North with Ritchies , Reggie Jones, our HSE grad turned Colts lineman Rietz and others.
Good game, Ohio in OT but really good to see Indiana kids carrying the torch and continuing to play at the next level. Reflects on our love of the game and the teaching that goes on starting at the grade school levels here in the state
