[Washington Catholic has a new girls basketball coach.
Two weeks ago Jimmy Beasley, Sr. was offered and accepted the job as varsity girls basketball coach at Washington Catholic. Beasley, Sr. signed his contract June 14 but the personnel action first had to be approved by the Diocese of Evansville.
The approval came through Thursday and Beasley, Sr. is now officially the head coach of the Lady Cardinals.
