As posted below, Gavit is closing and those students will go to Morton. Morton is set to retain the name and mascot they have had. (For now - might change, no kidding)
Clark and Hammond High are also going to both close and consolidate into new school that will be called Hammond Central. They are planning to go with the nickname Wolves. All will take place starting next school year.
