The gist of the story I get is that certain non-revenue coaches at Carmel / Center Grove would rather be playing teams from the HCC than Marion County
The MIC still rules in football and boys basketball.
The HCC is better in baseball - no team as bad as Pike's 1-28 team this last season (with a Sectional win over Tech). I think the HCC is deeper in many other sports, especially if you remove Carmel and Center Grove from the MIC roster.
I can't see the other sports driving the decision at the expense of the money sports - but it will be interesting to follow this.
