30 years ago this March, the Giants finished their 3 year run as state champions. Last night the Indiana Pacers honored that achievement by having members from those teams at center court during half time. All of the starters from those teams were in attendance along with former assistant coach Ray Sims and former AD Jim Fricke. A moment of silence was observed for the late Bill Green. Former assistant coach and 1984 baseball state champion coach Mel Wysong is also deceased. Several hundred Marion fans were in attendance last night for that celebration and to see Zach Randolph play for the Grizzlies.
