This is the type of scum that is very much out there - people looking at kids as a meal ticket for themselves.
I don't know the relationship between Truitt and Brand and how much Brand knew about him or how involved he may be in this (as far as legal responsibility goes), so I'm not implying that Coach Brand was knowingly involved in a Human Trafficking scheme.
A friend told me this Truitt dude had contacted another Indiana high school about taking the kid two or three weeks ago!
Guessing that may have been the straw that broke the camel's back and got him thrown in jail.
The Marion County charges may be the least of Mr. Truitt's problems moving forward.
